Can you hear it? Can you hear the school bells? Are you ready to drop your little one off for their first day of the new year? Well, I don’t know about you all but I’m entering this year with a mixture of excitement and trepidation. Part of my Mom brain is screaming “FREEEDOM!!!” like Kevin Costner in Braveheart while the other half is choking back sobs and whimpering inaudible phrases like “They aren’t ready” and “It’s too soon”. We recently did this adorable back to school minis with some of the sweetest little and I’m sure some of these parents can identify with my mixed feelings.
Having children grow up is such a bittersweet thing. A mixture of pride and sadness walk hand in hand as you see them grow slowly before your eyes. I’m so grateful that I’m able to help these families preserve the sweet innocence of their little ones in these images. As if these kids couldn’t get any cuter, they are all modeling some of this year’s newest (and adorable) fashion from Pickled Pink Boutique in Keller. And the icing on the cake was this “picture-perfect” (har har… I’m so punny) setup from Pink Pineapple Studios. Everything came together so well! If you are in the market for an adorable back to school outfit, you’ve got to stop on by Pickled Pink Boutique! But before you do, check out these adorable cuties!
Amelia is cute as a button. This tiny little bitty was so cute. She’s like a tiny little squeezable doll. And those eyes. OH my… it’s too much! The cuteness!!
Cheyenne. Cheyenne. Cheyenne. You are a beauty. I hope your Daddy is on the lookout for those suitors cause oh man…
Miss Hayes is adorable. She has what I like to refer to as Disney eyes. Big, beautiful doe brown eyes that you can lose yourself in. So precious!
Doesn’t this boy have the kindest eyes? He gets that from his momma. Meet David K.. I just loved taking his pictures. He was a treasure!
Miss Kinsley was so fun. She has a sweet and tad bit silly personality. It was fun getting to know her. I’m a tad jealous of her eyes.
We had to work a little bit to get Miss Cassidy to give us a full on smile. But after a bit of silliness and some weird youtube hits (anyone know Parry Grip?) we got her out of her shell.
David M. was THE MOST complimentary and sweetest child of the day. Every time we asked him if he would do something he would reply with the sweetest little “Yes.” It was the kind of yes that melts your heart. The kind that makes you want to reach out a hug him.
These two sisters were something else. So much energy between the two and so much LOVE. What a fun relationship they have. There’s nothing like sisters, right? Nevaeh is the older sister and she was super into modeling. She LOVES striking a pose. Elena was a little ball of energy. She’s the kind of kiddo that keeps you on your toes. So much life and fun in her, I love it!
These are additional images of all the kiddos.
